unbelievable but still true, after months I’ve finally finished this vector. I founded the reference pic in July last year, but I never had time to do the vector/vexel. Then in February this year I started, but I couldn’t spend a lot of time at once on it so it took me until last night to finish it, and I’m sorry but I didn’t count the hours - a lot of course *hehe*…

it’s the wonderful joss stone, one of my favourite musicians. I think she’s so pretty with this red-black curled hair and when I saw this picture I was sure that I had to do this vexel one day.

done in inkscape [so it’s actually a real vector] and it consists of incredible 7343 paths/layers!!! but 1275 of them are only the background [if i remember right the hair were about 3000 layers]. what you can see here is big, but it’s only 35% of the original size

before you ask: yes, ANYTHING is vector [handmade] even the background!
